TP-Link TL-WR902AC AC750 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5 Travel Router

This router is a great little device very useful when you travel and you want to use chromecast over the hotel’s wifi. The useful part is: No Ethernet connection is required. In this case is the wisp/hotspot mode is what you are after. Just switch to this mode from device’s button and you are ready to capture the hotel wifi and creat your own hot spot.
However, the annoying part was that the guy in Wellington shop explained me how this device won’t work like that. Used to create a private wifi off of a shared open wifi network. Plugged in and set the mode, connected it to the shared open wifi and then created my own private one via the simple yet comprehensive web admin. No support for USB modem. It will only connect through 3G/4G via bridge mode to WiFi Dongle (Uses the USB port for power only). Short power (USB) lead. Bought it as a means to provide WiFi in the workshop at the back of the property. Been running it for a couple of months with no issues whatsoever. Signal strength is excellent, even through three walls and a distance of ~30 meters. It was a cinch to configure, with easily understandable instructions. Does not have Cellular Connectivity:4G (Single SIM). However it does connect in bridge mode to WiFi-4G device. Which allowed me to connect existing 4G WiFi device to Ethernet LAN. Used this TP Link router as a WiFi extender to connect a Reolink NVR through WiFi rather than going to all the effort running an ethernet cable. Worked out as an easy option. Thanks TP Link. I purchased this as a small repeater extend/improve my wifi into the garden shed (man-cave).
It works great for this, allowing me to use an ip camera inside the shed. I have placed it in a small plastic box mounted outside under the eaves and powered from a battery topped up by a small solar panel. I purchased this as a small repeater extend/improve my wifi into the garden shed (man-cave).

Was looking for wifi adapter for my desktop that doesnt have a wifi card instead of using 20m ethernet cable. Thought may as well pay extra for it's other features that seem nice when the necessity comes. No problems 15m away from router on my desktop, probably not the fastest though. Very handy. I'm using it as a wi-fi receiver. The installation took me 2 minutes. It is powered via USB. Very handy. I'm using it as a wi-fi receiver. The installation took me 2 minutes. It is powered via USB.
