I am very happy with this. I found it straightforward to set up. I've connected it directly to the fibre ONT, bypassing ONE NZ's router/wifi completely. Fibre ready and super easy to set up via the App in less than 30 minutes including unboxing :) Not cheap but not as expensive as some mesh systems, I'd call it great value for money given its features. Great coverage and speed on my fiber max.
My office is upstairs without any rj45 wire connection(need for for my switch). So using 2nd one as my Wi-Fi internet receiver and then using wired connection to my switch and still getting 800+ MB/S speed.

I purchased a dual band mesh system before but returned it to go for a more advanced model. The throughput on my 950/500 connection I get consistently 400/250mbps 9ms ping - my room setup is bouncing between two nodes. That’s amazing for a mesh. On the pilot I get 700/32mbps with 4ms ping. Absolutely stable connection too with no drops. The app is intuitive and easy to use. I manage 12 people with various high-demand devices and IoT. It’s great the app separates the IoT and so now my 3rd party lights etc etc work much more seamless with Apple HomeKit. Highly recommended. I was a bit hesitant to buy a mesh setup. But the kids were constantly complaining about the wifi dropping out.
So after much reading of reviews I decided to go for this model- slightly more expensive but with some degree of future proofing.

Using it with my default Spark modem, super easy setup - I could probably have gone for the 2 pack because the coverage is so much better than the basic modem/router.

A way to future proof yourself with the latest WiFi standard since WiFi 7 isn't quite out yet. Great parental app support to boot. The only thing I would mark down is the price but get it on sale and you'll be good to go!

Had high expectations for such an expensive product from the most reputable brand.
I am an IT technician, yet it still took me 3 work hours to get this going.
None of the 3 units appear to have a router inside.
The manual indicates it can be connected directly into the ONT.
Maybe that's the case for the new ONTs, but with a first generation ONT, this didn't work.
So ironically we had to wire this flash new AI mesh system through the old cheap mesh unit that DID have a router inside it.
Now there's 2 conflicting wireless networks, but it works. Kind of.
Additional units were very unstable to set up and always had the red 'issue' light.

It took an hour for us to realise that every time you change a setting or restart a unit, it will crash and eventually recover and start working after 10 minutes of being left alone.
Every action such as connection, addition, restart, everything takes at least 5 minutes.
Very dissapointing setup but am hopeful its long term performance and firmware updates would make up for it.

Having just set this up I can’t believe how many settings require you to pay for an additional subscription. If you buy this and want to configure anything but the basic features around security or scheduling or parental controls, be prepared to fork out another $200 per year to get access to all features.
