Perfect reception all over our 2-storey house including external cameras. Best features for me are there is no master (all 3 units are the same and can be promoted to be the “main” internet connected hub), the 3 Ethernet ports per unit, and the ability to set preferred unit per device is brilliant). This product is the bees knees, in that it has a great app in which you can configure to your liking and the units also look the part being deco and all. Would recommend to anyone looking for an up to date mesh router system. I've never had a mesh system before and moved into a house that is difficult to wire because of vaulted ceilings multi floor etc so thought this would be pretty good. It is the worst router I've ever owned. My main complaints are:
- after a time one of the APs will start being erratic with time for a packet to get to the main AP, reboot fixes this temporarily
- DHCP Clients list doesn't update unless you reboot the router AP
- The app is slow and awful, and the web UI doesn't have all the information you need

Bought the Deco to replace our aging 2x routers with 3 deco x55 mesh. Deco doesn't accommodate home phone so had to stay with the Spark smart modem. The setup using the app assumes that you will use the deco as a fibre modem and it took 15 frustrating minutes to break out the app cycle. Then it offered me the choice of modem or AP (access point), once this happened it only took 1 minute per deco to setup the deco as APs. Wifi speed has doubled and the previous deadish zones in our 2 story (280sm) have gone. Recommend these but watch the app as it assumes the decos will be used as a fibre modem. Setup was quick and straightforward using the app. Coverage is solid for a multi-room home and connection has been stable so far.

Good balance between performance and price for a 3-pack mesh system. Would recommend for typical home use.

Decos are a great and easy system to setup with usually zero issues, I highly recommend these to anyone to give you wifi though out your whole house. Note I usually hard wire them for maximum coverage and stability. Deco Mesh system provides fast internet seamlessly everywhere with the added bonus of CAT 6 cable connectivity to maximise streaming in sleepovers. More comprehensive and interference free compared to just buying an extender.
