Ubiquiti UniFi (UXG-Lite) Gateway Lite

This is an ideal little gateway router firewall combo unit which is simple to set up and fits easily into any Unifi network. It only has two ports, each 1Gbps rated - one for WAN and one for LAN, so you will need a switch to go with it for any number of other connections. That said, this makes it very small and easy to fit into a cabinet. The setup process was very straightforward, with the unit recognised immediately by my Unifi app and then adoption - with Spark internet connection - easy to achieve with the right settings. Note that you need to use it with a console like the CloudKey to achieve a fully-managed network setup through Unifi.

I tried for 2 days to set this product up. The fact that it only has one network port and cannot run the unifi console means that it's incredibly difficult to setup. Anyway, I ended up returning it (maybe it was faulty?) and replacing with the UCG-Ultra Gateway which I setup in 10 minutes and has been rock solid since.
