TP-Link TX401 10Gbps PCI-E Ethernet Adapter, 1 x RJ45

I recently purchased the TP-Link TX401 10Gbps PCI-E Ethernet Adapter from PB Tech, and it has exceeded my expectations. It worked flawlessly with my TrueNAS-SCALE-22.12.4.2 system, being automatically detected without any need for manual intervention or driver installation, making the setup process seamless. I purchased two of these to use between my pc and NAS and I've played around with different drivers and settings to get the desired 10gbps speeds. At time I do get this speed but I had to fiddle around in the network adapter options to get it performing well. Also I found the driver from Marvell, who makes the chipset, to be better than the TP link one. (at the time of writing). So wasn't really plug and play for me because I wanted the full speed. Be prepared to do some googling if you are in a similar situation. Linux drivers are great and haven't had any issues, but if you plan to use Windows, prepare for the worst. Constant disconnects and troubleshooting. Currently stopped working completely unless you reboot.

Tp-Link drivers are not great. The Adapter falls over and breaks if the LAN IPv4 address changes on it. Requiring a restart. The TP-Link drivers are from 2019.

The latest Marvell drivers appears to better? (and can update the card firmware). But for some reason, the Marvell Drivers fail to start on Windows Server 2019. So stuck with the latest Windows Update drivers available.

Speed, using iperf3 getting around 6gbit. But also had the NIC lock up, again requiring a restart.

so after getting this installed in my PC and connecting it to the 10Gbps port on my Zyxel AX7501-B0 router I am struggling to get it to perform as it should the drivers from TP-Link performed miserably allowing only 0.04Mbps upload speed on an 2Gbps symmetrical fiber connection and huge amounts of retries from dropped packets. I did grab the drivers from Marvel's website but even they struggle with only a ~95 - 115 Mbps upload speed still better than what TP-Link managed but still a far cry from ~2000Mbps. Download speeds are perfect though reaching 2118Mbps from the Chorus Fiber Lab test server. I'm still at a loss as to why it's performing so badly I have contacted PB Tech and TP-Link to try finding out why it's performing the way it is nothing heard back as of yet so will update this review when I do hear anything..... oh it does however max out the 1Gbps port up/down speeds if plugged in to one of them but that's not what I bought this for

Bought this, plugged it in, installed the driver, and added the CAT 6a cable included in the box. Presto! I'm now getting
