Corsair RM750x 750W ATX 3.1 Power Supply

Great PSU the newer ATX3.1 version to eliminate some of the fears around cable melting in newer GPUs such as the 5080 in my build. Did a lot of research in picking parts, reading alot of reviews and benchmarks this is more than adequate to power my system, had great safety ratings all with enough headroom for future upgrades. Very good Corsair PSU. Full modular helps a lot, cable routing is a little harder considering some of the cables have a very hard rubberized section close to their end and that makes it difficult to maneuver around tight spaces on a smaller case. A solid value for money power supply. My previous Corsair unit which was also an 850watt is still going strong and was about 8 years old. The cost of buying custom cables for my old power supply was almost the same as just getting this whole unit. Super happy with the upgrade as this one is very quiet on startup compared to my previous model. The adjustable fan speed on the back is a nice touch. Cables are quality and come with combs where you need them to keep things looking slick without the need to buy a cable mod. Has dual CPU cables and the nvidia 12pin to run everything safely to modern power hungry CPU & GPU's A solid value for money power supply. Handles everything that is thrown at it. I expected this, as it is much overkill for my ryzen 5 9600x(65w tdp) and my 9060 xt 16gb, but it still is very, very, good. plenty of headroom for my overclocking and takes it like a champ. This PSU ran extremely hot all the time. I ran two mid range GPU's of it that weren't particularly high powered, an Epyc 155W CPU and drives. So yes that is a bit, but 1000 watt should have handled that. The PSU always ran very hot and one day it just packed up but strangely not with the magic smoke as usual.

The BMC on the board kept running but it was unable to power the board or for that matter any motherboards anymore. Probably the 12V line died or something.

The only downside is how sharp the plug connectors are, managed to cut my finger open while removing motherboard connector on PSU side for better cable management. Beware. the noise on this psu is really minimal, even under heavy load the noise isn't significant.
