Sleek and well built PSU
The addition of the 12VHPWR PCIe Cable gives piece of mind when pairing with a 4090.
Coil whine
There's high and low coil whine on start up but there isn't when it's under load.

Been a great PSU so far, haven't had any coil whine with mine
Great value, quality build and cables
Great PSU. A tier PSU. Downsides: really, really bad coil whine when under no load. This goes away when you have the system under any sort of load above ~100 watts of draw. Some reports say that it may go away in a few months, but not sure!
Unbearable noise
Stay away from this product if you could.
I've got one for my custom PC. if it didn't work out of the box I would rate it 1 star

it works and does supply power to your PC
the bad:
Coil whine, both low pitch hum and high pitch scream are both present on my unit. when it does the high pitch whine it sounds like the noise old fridge make when you forgot to close the door.
this whine occurs when your PC is idle and web browsing. tried to return it for RMA, the team said they couldn't find anything while put it underload when I did state the noise is there when idle,

I've been using this PSU for 10 days now. It's powering a Threadripper 3960X + Intel ARC 770 + 4 HDDs + 1 SSD + 3 NVME.
No coil whine, in fact it is very quiet.
NZXT has been facing huge backlash recently. Not taking sides, they seem to deserve it, but this particular product looks, feels and acts premium. They can't be bad at everything, right?
If unexcepted problems arise with this PSU, I'll write another review here!

_ is a little bit bigger than a 850w model, so check your case measurements before buying.
