App was easy to setup and the unit worked first pop. Tested with a lamp first - that was fine, so tried running the bread toaster through it (to check out a higher current throughput). That worked OK as well. Then left it with the light running through it (approx 25 watts) continuous for a day. The unit got quite warm. I wonder how it would go with, say 200W to 500W continuous? Not keen to try this.

The other thing is that it can be remotely controlled over the Internet, so there is not a lot of info about the security of the App, or what other info about your wireless network, might be getting passed out to the control website. I have decided NOT to use them at the moment but may reconsider after I get a ring-fenced wireless network set up that is restricted to just this sort of device (and not have PCs or other smart devices on the same LAN segment).

Great product, mine didn't pair initially particularly well - so if you're having this issue try either removing it from the app, turning on/off Bluetooth and not using the smart install, instead click on the product and sub category. Great once going. I like the feature where it measures the power usage. It only shows the instantaneous power draw. Would be better if the associated software could plot/trend the historically sampled power usage. Very simple I loaded the app on my iPhone installed update the firmware scheduled running sit and forget great product. What I really like, monitoring output of kilowatts, I can schedule different timeframes, to reduce my costly power bill.
