Great little switch, easy to install and use.
Great little switch. Just plugged all the devices in and used one port for the source internet from my modem and i was up and running. I used the switch to provide more hardwired ports for devices in my house.
Excellent value for money. I just wish i had bought the 16 port version, but I was a bit tight for space in the cupboard so had to settle for 8 ports.
Works exactly as it should...
Very solid construction. Plugged in, turned on, it worked. It's a switch, nothing flash required! Installed and forgotten about - best review possible for a switch?
As expected
Metal exterior is nice. Plug and play to get all the Ethernet ports in my house connected. My router only had 1 Ethernet out so this solved that problem.

Home 8 port switch
Easy to install and Plug and play, no Dramas.
Fit of purpose.
A perfect addition to my Wi-Fi needs. Had a TP-Link 4-port in the early stages, but now I am set with some room for expansion.
Very simple, effective.
Good value for money if you don't need a 10 Gigabit switch, very simple to just plug in the cables and let it do its thing. The aluminium body is nice, and the device is entirely silent.

Power down Idle Ports

Power Budget According to Cable Length
Ideally, shorter cable would use less power because of less power degradation over their length; this is not the case with most devices as they will use the same amount of power across the cable regardless of the length.
