Bought this for a dumb TV. Using the Firestick app set up was a cinch. Already have the 4k version and this version was also easy to set up. Batteries are included. Bought this for a dumb TV. Bought this, then realised my 10yr old TV did actually have 4K capability, so went back into PB Albany and they gladly upgraded me. Fairly simple, and very intuitive, set up process for the Fire TV Stick. Now enjoying the 4K viewing experience on the old 65in in the garage! Originally wanted a Google Chromecast HD but as they were out of stock I ended up purchasing this. It has been excellent for the price and has been great for watching TV in our living room.
Downside is it doesnt have any casting/Airplay capabilities and it doesn't let you sign in with any Prime Video account, only the one registered to the Fire Stick. So my mate who does have Prime Video would have to set it up again and register it to his account which is annoying. Doesn't do this for any other apps.

But I prefer this. Love the games, has all the usual streaming apps etc. no issues so far. Have bought 2 of these.

Only dislike is the sound it makes when scrolling.
