I’ve read on an iPad for years but it was getting heavy to hold in one hand plus my eyes were getting sore/tired on the iPad. I decided to purchase the Paperwhite Kindle and things improved straight away. No longer got tired eyes and due to the Kindles weight it is very easy to hold in one hand.
And as I read in bed at night I can turn the brightness down to a level that doesn’t disturb hubby.
I’m very happy with my purchase - even if my daughter commented “ How old fashioned “.

Was a gift to my partner and she was reluctant to make the swap but after convincing her she loves it and it's features like the warmth adjustability for the screen, being water resistant, larger screen, and smaller text for better reading, and the double tap feature to turn the page, she much prefers this kindle to her previous one. the paper white is my first kindle and i love it. I enjoy reading both inside and outside and am able to read easily with the adjust-ability for the back-light. We bought this for our Grandson for Christmas as a way of encouraging him to read more books. I am a Kindle Paperwhite owner and love the product. I love the new Kindle. It is fast and easy to navigate. The screen is bigger than my old one and the dark screen option is so good. It connects quickly and and keeps my books up to date and easy to find. So good for taking away as it takes so little room and is light so you can have so many books to hand without compromising luggage weight. With the long battery life you can easily keep reading without worrying about it going flat. I wouldn't be without it. I love the new Kindle. It is fast and easy to navigate. I have upgraded my Kindle every few years and this is the best yet. Very good battery life and light and easy to hold. Good page turn and little lag when moving between books in your library.
