It loses points on The LCD screen, which has a pretty bad view angle. Unless you're looking at it head-on, you'll most likely not be able to read it from a distance without getting up and crawling under your desk or wherever you have it.

Fortunately, I found if you plug it in and let Windows install the HID driver, you can instead set your power options in Windows to shut down at a certain battery %, and not have the use the software at all.

The last thing is there is no way to disable the very loud alarm sound without running the software. I've yet to find out if it's loud enough to wake me up if the power goes out at night. Since I'm using it primarily for a PC, I might end up turning it off along with the PC, but for those using it with any kind of always-on server, it might prove annoying.

The UPS is split into 3 always-one surge protectors, and switched 3 UPS power points. It has a tiny display on top, that you can only read while looking straight down at it. The display is split, and it always shows something in the left side ... BUT ... the UPS power points are off until you press the power button on top. Then a lightbulb icon appears on the right, and its both sides are on. If you're not paying attention you can plug devices into surge protector ports, which are always on, even if the UPS is turned off. Otherwise OK.
