PROS:
Does exactly what I was expecting, in that it keeps my NAS running long enough for me to shut it down cleanly and also has the option to connect it to my computer for an unattended controlled shutdown of attached devices (e.g. my Synology NAS).

CONS:
As far as I can see you cannot turn down or off the BEEP which I hear from down the hallway when the UPS comes out of StandBy. This is a little annoying when at 3am you get a power cut (Happens regularly in my Rural Area) and you are woken up by a BEEP every 30 seconds until the power comes back on. PROS:

Bought one of these for my Synology NAS so that it handles the odd brown-out and safely shuts down during a power outage. The NAS automatically detects the UPS via the supplied USB cable, barely any configuration needed. When power gets low the NAS shuts down and automatically fires back up when power is restored. Needed a new replacement UPS. This one is a perfect match for my Synology 4 bay NAS and hasn't missed a beat, handling every power outage from short intermittent dropouts to longer sustained ones. We are rural with power that can be erratic at times. Interfaces nicely with the NAS UPS monitoring support software. Would purchase again. Needed a new replacement UPS. I work as an IT contractor and I cannot afford to lose too much time due to a power cut. I purchased this unit to provide a backup for my Chorus ONT and Fibre Router. Was put to the test this morning when we had a power cut. Worked perfectly for 2.5 hrs before the battery ran out. Paid for itself in one morning. I bought this to backup my Synology. Setup was so easy. Looks like it does the job. Haven't had a power outage yet but pretty sure this will works great to keep Synology still up and running and will shut down when battery gets low. I bought this to backup my Synology. I use this to run a Unifi Switch-8 150W (connected to two downstream PoE access points), a Qotom mini-pc (J1900) running pfsense, and a QNAP TS-453U NAS. It works well, and gets me through power cuts here. It's quite compact and fits nicely onto a shelf on my rack, and has a good, bright, clear display so I can see what's going on. It shows load, voltage, and battery time remaining.

Cons are that there is only 2 plugs - one on the UPS and another surge protected. It also has a fixed, wired in power cable. This was a pain as I had everything set up to use IEC C15 (jug cord) type connectors and had to move a few things around.

It may be a great machine, however, I noticed that the support for Linux systems is poor.
The Linux driver software is not up to date, and wreaks havoc with Firefox. It also did not detect the UPS.

My rural location (Pukekawa) frequently subject to brief power interruptions of a minute or less, sometimes up to 8 or 9 hours at a stretch. Bought this UPS to power my wireless WAN bridge between garage (which has line-of -sight to wireless ISP tower) and house (no required line-of-sight), to avoid unwanted frequent modem resets, so long as power outage is only for a few minutes max. So far, so good. I don't expect this UPS to provide power if the outage exceeds about 30 minutes, but luckily this has not happened since buying the UPS yet... Its small, compact and packs the perfect amount of back up for my needs. I would highly recommend this product
