This seems a great UPS and all has gone without a hitch. I hope for 4-5 years before thinking about battery replacement. Another user commented on a strong odour. Mine had a mild "hot electronics" odour which is fading after 24 hours. I don't think it's an issue. Connected to the UPS I have my top-of-the-line water-cooled gaming machine, plus monitor, external HDD and network switches, and so far the fans in the UPS have not switched on, even when doing some heavy graphics work, so the UPS is totally silent (just the way I like it). Things to note:

2nd: You need to provide your own USB A to B cable to connect to your PC if you wish to install the Eaton monitoring software.
3rd: The software to install is Eaton UPS Companion 2.00.025, available from eaton.com/downloads. I tried installing a more recent version (2.1.028) available on some Eaton websites, but this didn't work on my Windows 11 machine (just had a blank screen with no info). However, 2.00.025 is working for me and pops up useful notifications when a power failure occurs.
Conclusion:
I think this if pretty good value and I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Simple set and forget for dependable support against power outages and fluctuations for expensive server.

I have two of these units but I might get another two/three of them. They are cheaper than rack mountable ones so I am thinking of using them in my homelab rather than investing in rackmountable ones. Fairly quiet, they have saved me from small outages and when doing maintenance on my stuff. I haven't had a problem with loudness or smells. I have 4 computers, and their peripherals, sitting at my desk and I needed the 2k2VA/1k2W version to make everything work. I already have 2 Eaton 700VA/360W UPS units chugging away on other devices, so getting this one was a no-brainer. There's absolutely no display beyond a lit power switch. I hooked an 1000W electric heater to it, and it ran for about 30 seconds. It got warm. It does have a USB cable to talk to PC, for graceful shut, but didn't test it. Adequate for an garage door opener. There's absolutely no display beyond a lit power switch.
