DEEPCOOL LE520 White 240mm ARGB Liquid Cooler White For Intel LGA 1851/1700/1200/1151/1150/1155, AMD AM5/AM4

Got this in the VIP sale for my 8600k that was starting to run a bit hot, my old AIO is about 7 to 8 years old.

Fitted this following the instructions and the 115x standoffs and for some reason the chip is running super hot now.

Checked the connections and the fan settings all seem ok still hitting 100c in a few mins in bios

Went to swap to a test cpu so took the cooler off, the cooler wasnt actually contacting the cpu, the paste on the AIO had not even touched the CPU

Double checked instructions used the right standoffs tried again CPU still not contacted by cooler.

Now happy and running at 45-60c with a small OC and very very quiet.

I slapped this into my server, running a 15-14500, on a MSI board, 32G RAM, it's is pretty good for price, if you must get something cheaper, this works. I swapped out a AG400 for an AIO to treat myself and complete my PC look. Everyone is saying get a AIO but Im telling you dear reader its not worth it. My CPU is a I5-12600K and with fan cooling before baseline idle temp was at 52 degrees and after 2 hours of gaming I average 84 degrees. With AIO I now idle at 47 degrees and after gaming I average at 76 degrees. If that is worth paying 3x more over a simple fan cooler then power to you, for me it doesnt feel that worth it. Additionally at idle the fan cooler was near silent and only got loud at load for a while. Not the flashest looking AIO cooler but it has a tidy minimalist look to it and performs on par with more expensive AIO coolers such as the Lian Li Galahad. I didn't use the fans that come with it so can't comment on those. I got this cooler on sale for roughly $100, at that price I can't say anything negative. Great value. Super easy to install and daisy chain to existing rgb items. Only down side I found was the cabling is a bit short, so cable management isnt the most ideal. An extension cable would make things easier to hide and tie together.

Super happy with performance, 28-30 degrees under normal load, 50-60 under heavy loads.

Don't spend the extra money on a more expensive aio like I was going to, glad I got this one. Super easy to install and daisy chain to existing rgb items.
