At this price range, you really cant get better value and quality. And yes, it feels like what you think it looks like. Continuity is fairly responsive but not super super quick like Fluke but very good for this price range.

The con, the voltage and resistance detection speed, is little bit slower than I would like. However, remember, at this price, range, with all the other features and quality you are getting, its hard to complain. If it performs just a little bit faster, then it would be perfect. Otherwise, there is about half a second to a second delay when reading voltages and resistances.

It actually seems to be a 6000count unit, not the lower 3999count that the PBT description states.
AAMOI&FWIW: it didn't come with a 9V battery - which tallies with the "slightly cheaper than I was expecting" price :-).
For aesthetic & practical reasons in daily use I quickly removed its rather garish green protective cover and the hinged "prop" at its rear.

I reviewed lots of multimeters and this was the best bang for the buck and was really impressed. Solid build construction, auto ranging and continuity buzzer.
